SALON has a long history of touring. Since Jim Garrard took the very first Sir John, Eh? production to the prairies in the 1990s, the theatre company has solidified their fluid, flexible and portable methodology on roads across Canada. Whether taking the train or driving the half-ton, Mary Louisa Cummins with a UHaul trailer hitched to the back, our actors are very familiar with life on the move.
Equally as important as ensuring our thespians visit all the provinces, is our ability to reach people online. We do this through many different channels, including YouTube, the Sir John A. Macdonald Library and a plethora of social media pages.
